Donations and Support

We represent many clients pro bono, and many folks are unable to pay USCIS's new, high fees.  Some of these new fees, which cannot be waived, regardless of financial need or age, include: 

​

- $100 just to apply for asylum 
- $550 for the first work permit for asylum seekers

- $275 for asylum seekers' work permit renewal applications (in addition to a $560 fee that could be waived depending on financial need)
- $250 for a Special Immigration Juvenile Visa aplication (this is one step towards lawful status for children who were abused, abandoned, or neglected by a parent) 

 

You can make a contribution that will have a real impact here.
Your contributions let us continue to help, and cover the costs of filing fees, for those who need it most.  Please note that donations are not tax-deductible as we are not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are trying this model to allow us to continue to support our community's growing needs.
